15-year-old boy stabbed outside Brookland Metro Station | News
WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- A 15-year-old boy suffered non-life threatening injuries Tuesday after he was stabbed outside the Brookland/CUA Metro Station.
According to Metro Transit police, the boy was stabbed in the torso just before 5 p.m. on the sidewalk near the bus bay outside the station.
Using surveillance video from a Metro bus and social media sources, police were able to arrest a 17-year-old boy for the stabbing. He was arrested at his home in Northwest D.C.
Red Line service was not affected by the stabbing.
The bus camera footage will not be made available because police consider it evidence.
