Petline 9: Bruno Mars

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WUSA) - Visiting the WUSA9 studios on Thursday was this week's Petline 9 candidate, Bruno Mars from the Washington Humane Society.

This endearing boy with a sleek white coat and brown markings is an 11-month-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix. His personality shines forth in that doggy smile and his tail is rarely still because he's wagging in anticipation of finding his forever home. He enjoyed meeting meteorologist Howard Bernstein, and even demonstrated how he's learned to sit on command.

Bruno is also a part of the WHS's holiday promotion 12 Days of Adoptables, so his adoption fee is waived until the end of the month--now there's a real holiday deal! If you're looking to adopt and add a special canine family member during this season of comfort and joy, you can see Bruno at the WHS's Georgia Avenue Adoption Center.

If you'd like more information about Bruno, or any other adoptable pet, please call 202-723-5730 or visit www.washhumane.org.

And check out the other animals in the WHS 12 Days of Adoptables, all hoping for homes for the holidays.
