Alexandria's McKinley Marketing Partners Donates Office Supplies to At-Risk Pre-Schoolers | Business
McKinley Marketing Partners, headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia with offices in Dallas, Texas and the New York Metro area, recently embarked on a new era of operation by rebranding with a fresh logo and an updated, user-friendly website. The new circular design of its logo underscores McKinley’s mission – to provide complete, well-rounded marketing solutions for its clients’ interim or direct-hire needs.
By rebranding, McKinley is moving forward with new ways to assist its diverse Fortune 1000 clientele and to recruit new marketing talent. McKinley also wants to remain a vital community leader in Old Town Alexandria, with office headquarters in a remodeled warehouse that originally operated as an arms dealership. Since the rebranding, McKinley had found itself with reams of logo paper products and other office supplies it can no longer use due to the introduction of its new round logo.
Given the relationship that McKinley has established with the Cora Kelly School over the past few years, they decided to donate the old materials to those classrooms they visit each year. For the past few years, McKinley has hosted holiday pizza parties, arts and crafts activities, and donated books to the preschoolers at the Cora Kelly School. It was a great opportunity to give more to the children.
McKinley worked with The Child & Family Network Centers (CFNC) of Northern Virginia to schedule a time to donate a total of 30 boxes - filled with folders, calendars, loose paper, note pads, note cards and envelopes, letter-size envelopes and brochure-size envelopes - to the preschooler classrooms at the Cora Kelly Recreation Center adjacent to the Cora Kelly School for Math, Science and Technology. CFNC was founded more than 25 years ago to provide free education and other services to at risk children and families in Alexandria and Arlington.
“The Child & Family Network Center at the Cora Kelly School offers wonderful services for children and the Alexandria community and is exactly the type of program we want to help,” says Michelle Boggs, President & CEO of McKinley Marketing Partners. “McKinley’s Senior VP of Client Services Susie Aubuchon and Marketing Manager Lisa Weiss worked closely with CFNC’s Anna Berke and Kristin Thompson to make the donation of office supplies run smoothly. We were all excited to see the children’s happy faces as they received the notepads and pens to be used for future art projects.”
McKinley, co-founded 16 years ago by Boggs, has established a strong client base among Fortune 1000 companies by providing marketing solutions to manage and support a wide range of programs including communications, research and analysis, digital marketing and relationship management. Among the industries it works with are financial and business services, government, healthcare, hospitality, technology, energy, non-profits and telecommunications.
By rebranding with a new website and logo, McKinley plans to keep its firm at the forefront of marketing solutions for the communities it serves. By donating office supplies to a school in need, McKinley remains an active contributor to the Alexandria community where it’s based.
