Named this year for Children’s National Medical Center’s Dr. Bear mascot, the “Bear” Bones Tour launches the beginning of designers’ transformation of the new Wesley Heights home
The 2013 DC Design House “Bear” Bones tour last Saturday, February 23, at 2507 Foxhall Road, Washington, DC offered the first look at the spaces before designers begin their work transforming each of the 24 rooms into fabulous places to live. Designers were on hand to present and describe their design boards and share their inspirations for the dramatic change to the new, 14,000-square-foot, $14.9 million home.

The Preview Party of the finished spaces is set for April 13, 1 to 5 p.m., $50, and the house opens to the public on April 14 with hours as follows: Saturday and Sunday noon to 5 p.m. and Tuesday-Friday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., $25.
