DC Athletes stand with Becky Lee to Fight Domestic Violence and Showcase Local Designers | Arts & Culture

Last Thursday, the waterfront in Washington, DC was a buzz with a beautiful crowd, beautiful models and athletes. All taking a stand with Becky Lee of Becky's Fund to end and prevent domestic violence.
Becky’s Fund and featured menswear designer Eric Finn Custom Clothiers hit the runway this fall for their fourth annual “Walk This Way” fashion event at Kastles Stadium. The event highlighted an impressive pro-athlete line-up including DC United Chris Pontius and Ben Olsen, Washington Capitals John Carlson, Karl Alzner and Mathieu Perreault and Former Redskins Legend Gary Clark and current Redskins Players DeAngelo Hall, Ryan Kerrigan,Lorenzo Alexander, Reed Doughty, Kedric Golston modeling Eric Finn Custom Clothier suits on the catwalk to support Becky’s Fund and their work to end and prevent domestic abuse.
This year, the athletes-turned-models were joined by female models rocking styles from local brands such as Marti Company, Anchyi Wei concept accessories, Melissa Vap Hats, Bishme Cromartie and Charm Georgetown.
In addition to the celeb players, the event drew in DC-based elected officials, politicos, media personalities, community leaders and elite business owners. The host committee and attendees included DC Mayor Vincent Gray, Congressman Mike Honda, DC Councilmember Jack Evans, Council Woman Muriel Bowser, VA Delegate Mark Keam, Councilmember Tommy Wells, Redskin’s Brandon Banks, Comcast Sportsnet’s Julie Donaldson, NBC 4’s Dan Hellie and Angie Goff, ABC's Cynee Simpson, Washingtonian Magazine’s Kate Bennett, Verizon’s Emilio Gonzelz and Reed Smith’s A. Scott Bolden among others.
