Joel and Victoria Osteen Coming To Nationals Park |
Title (Max 100 Charaters)
From Andrea Davis:
More than ever, there is a need for hope across our nation. At a time when increasing numbers of people are looking for answers and direction in an uncertain world, Joel Osteen has a message of hope and optimism that is resonating across the nation and around the world. Joel’s appeal is universal, allowing him to crossover to audiences that are diverse racially, politically, and socioeconomically.
In 2009, just nine days after the season opener, Joel and Victoria held the first non-baseball event at the new Yankee Stadium with nearly 45,000 attendees. Since then, tens of thousands have filled Dodger Stadium and U.S. Cellular Field. 2012 promises to be even bigger and better when Joel and Victoria bring their distinctive, uplifting message to the state-of-the-art Washington Nationals Park for an historic and memorable night on Saturday, April 28 at 7:30 p.m..
“Victoria and I love Washingtonians,” said Pastor Joel Osteen. “We’re excited to bring our signature event here, a night that I believe will uplift people and fill them with an expectation that their best days are still out in front of them.”
Just prior to America’s Night of Hope, April 26-27, young adults from around the country will mobilize together for the Generation HOPE Project. This movement of young adults from around the country will arrive in the nation’s capital to bring tangible help to the local community by participating in service projects across the District. The Generation HOPE Project is an outreach of Joel Osteen Ministries designed to empower a new generation to be catalysts for change.
